Role Purpose

Vodafone Network Operations ensures the operations of several network platforms including the supporting tools,Operating Support Systems.
The role purpose is to ensure the excellence in operations of OSS Central Platforms, highservice availability, lean and optimized processes, and proactive monitoring.
Ensure platforms/systems maturity and stabilitywhile helping the program delivering according to the predefi ned objectives.
Ensure a strong and focus communication withthe costumer and incident resolution within agreed targets.

Job Responsibilities

  • Interaction with the internal costumer with the purpose to ensure the needed support according to the costumerneeds in due time;
  • Interaction with Vendors to facilitate and support in any needed action;
  • Interaction with Engineering department to ensure the proper delivery following the agreed standards anddeliverables within the planned times;
  • Internal interaction with the purpose to facilitate processes and implement improvement actions.;
  • Team performance refl ected by the agreed set of KPIs and qualitative feed-back of the internal customers;
  • KPI and SLA Assurance KPIs.

Ideal Background

  • University degree in Computer Science or Telecommunication or related fields;
  • 2+ years of experience as a BMC Remedy Consultant (preferably with knowledge/experience on BMC Remedy ITSMlatest versions - 19.x, 20.x);
  • Good understanding of Incident, Change processes and CMDB;
  • Knowledge on python, XML, Citrix, Nagios, BMC Remedy, Oracle ESB, Ericsson Adaptive Inventory (formerly Ericsson'sGranite Inventory), VMware, Jenkins;
  • Web development (html, CSS, JavaScript);
  • Knowledge in Oracle and SQL;
  • Knowledge/experience on Oracle ESB;
  • Ability to work effectively in a geographically distributed large international organisation with a geographicallydistributed, multi-cultural team;
  • Effective communication, presentation skills and technical documentation capabilities;
  • Availability for on call support.;
  • ITIL, system support, service management knowledge required;
  • Understanding of Agile methodologies (SCRUM);
  • Fluent English.
